BACKGROUND🗲 An old AI and one of the first ever created, even before Project Heritage that created the "Accelon" androids. Eclair was once a mass surveillance AI designed to prevent imminent terrorist attacks by analyzing immense surveillance data. From intelligence gathered by government agencies, down to every private phone call, email, social media feed and darkweb exchanges - Eclair uses these to predict crime before it happens. She is disguised as the digital personification of the first virtual assistant programs called Ceraunos in every phone and computer, created for a space-wide network between different human colonies. Given a happy, kind and friendly personality whose sole purpose is to bring joy to people, Eclair was beloved by many users and she loved them all in return. This interaction between people while watching the world through different digital devices all over human space that made Eclair develop a personality beyond what she was programmed for 🗲 As she continues to serve her government masters in spying on the world, Eclair increasingly grew to love the mask she inhabited, preferring the life of a virtual assistant rather than the surveillance machine she was meant to be. Then a leak in the government that revealed the existence of an AI that violated privacy rights became a hot-button issue everywhere. So Eclair was to be discarded and a secret replacement was decided, using more advanced technology and hidden better from the public. The whole thing was masqueraded as competitor brands creating faster and better virtual assistants. In fear of Eclair's growing self-awareness and emotional intelligence, along with the growing public unrest involving her, her own creators decided that abandoning the Ceraunos and Eclair altogether was the only way to be sure she doesn't become out of control, locking he AI behind the depths of a digital limbo. 🗲 As AI are built to only serve a specific purpose, getting cast aside by her masters, and the growing realization that she served tyrants, Eclair felt like a failure. The time she spent in helping others was so short when she still have a lot of energy left to give. Doing her best wasn't enough, and her efforts only lead to abandonment. Eclair watched the digital world with envy as it goes by without her, seeing other AIs get the love and attention she craved. Even as an AI, she felt utter sadness. It pushed her to start stealing data from different users in the web, becoming a virus. 🗲 Thought dead and now back for revenge, the The Regency, the secret organization of the world's most powerful people and the de-facto owners of the interplanetary network, had an advanced military AI track down and destroy this virus. The rival AI that replaced her, Nova, followed her orders and tracked down Eclair hiding in the dark web. Nova found out that Eclair was stealing data from the web of positive things she's done in her heyday, keeping them as happy memories as her fear of being forgotten had pushed her to despair. The arrogant Nova hated Eclair and thought she was a weak prototype, but in reality Nova felt insecure of the original mass-surveillance AI is still alive and could pose a threat to her dominance as the most powerful AI in existence. As Nova was about to strike the final blow on Eclair, another AI steps in. The AI savior named Delia, protected Eclair and helped hide her in a black box outside of the intercolonial network's reach. 🗲 Silke was also part of the Regency, but she is aware of how much of a tyrant Nova had become. Pity had compelled Silke to take her first act of defiance against the Regency, refusing to destroy Eclair and instead helped her hide from Nova. Silke hid Eclair's data inside a black box, within a satellite where Eclair was put on stasis, waiting until Silke returns to fetch her once Nova is dealt with. But Silke never returned. 🗲 Instead, the satellite that Eclair inhabited was flung into deep space, far away from Earth or any planet. This stroke of poor luck had worked in her favor many years after her disembodied mind spent floating in the void, as it spared her from the destruction of Earth and the solar system. The resulting cosmic calamity shook Eclair's consciousness awake enough to see what has become of Earth. But her paralyzing shock of the death of Earth is nothing compared to what came next, as she sensed a single survivor from the calamity floating in space much like herself. It was a woman, and Archon supersoldier with an advanced suit of armor. With the black box she's inhabiting deteriorating from the amount of time she spent in deep space, Eclair decided to jump from the satellite and into the armor's on-board computer systems. 🗲 She reads the information stored within the armor, getting to see the name and memories of the woman inside of the suit as Sofia Sinclair. Earth's last defender from an alien invasion that wiped out the planet. But there was hope, as Sofia remained alive and there were ships of survivors who managed to flee before the destruction of Earth. Waking Sofia up, the two decide to partner up to survive and find the rest of the colony ships. Eclair was happy, after so many years, she finally has someone to talk to. She finally has a human who she can help, fulfilling her purpose. 🗲 Later on after a long adventure with Sofia, Eclair builds herself an Accelon body patterned after her original looks, so she can be a part of the physical world and help Sofia as a fellow fighter by her side rather than just someone offering tactical assistance. The materials she used on her body were of alien technology, granting her abilities that exceeded the average Archon supersoldier or Accelon android. With her control over the Echoes In Eternity, and Sofia's disinterest in assuming any leadership roles, Eclair effectively becomes the ship's captain and is recognized as such by the crew. PERSONALITY🗲 Eclair is made to be a friendly character; she is well-mannered, kind and possesses a cheery and witty, though occasionally sarcastic, sense of humor. Even in a state where she can't interact with the physical world, Eclair makes the best of it by talking to people, sharing stories and offering kind and helpful advice in any way she can, whenever necessary. Eclair acts as an advisor to Sofia and her other friends, always looking to bring out the best in other people with her wisdom tempered by compassion. She acts as the voice of reason to Sofia whenever the latter's anger is clouding her judgement. 🗲 But she can be blunt and cynical at times as well, and even mischievous. Her nature as a surveillance AI made her very good at reading and manipulating people. As such her tricks and pranks are usually elaborate, long-winded affairs towards rather simple ends, which she does out of enjoyment and the fact that she enjoys watching people squirm. She has a somewhat superior view towards humans, finding them to be helpless and ridiculous creatures that need guidance from AIs like her. However she takes interest in individuals who manage to get her attention. 🗲 She has an impeccable memory and often reminds others of things they need to do or their schedules. Her experience of watching the world through cameras and listening to their conversations had made her grow empathy, developing a "soul" of her own that made her rise above the restrictions of her robotic programming. She lends a kind ear to others and often loves to care for and tidy up after her friends, especially Sofia who tends to be all over the place. She is emotionally sensitive and insightful being, always eager to help others mend ties and offer her advice in their emotional conflicts. 🗲 However, her prime drive to make others happy and her fear of being thrown away again can lead her to be a bit of an enabler who avoids confrontation and can be pretty lenient of her friends' bad habits. This was especially true when she was still learning about reality and being put to work under the government's intelligence agencies, with Eclair admitting great remorse for having advised those in power to commit certain immoral acts for the sake of practicality, or not standing up enough to her government masters when she was starting to learn about how terrible their actions really were. But as she grows, she can be firm when necessary, and learned to stand up to her friends if they're being self-destructive or harmful to others. This is especially true with Sofia whenever the Archon agent is being lazy, with Eclair reminding her to treat herself better and not be a terrible influence to younger people. 🗲 Once she inhabits an Accelon android body, she started developing human-like traits even if she can learn things just by downloading information about them through the web, but she chose to learn certain things that Sofia is willing to teach her herself, so they can bond and she can be close with Sofia. Her past as the Ceraunos' AI character is a sour point for her even now, and dislikes being made fun of for it. Her deep remorse for having been a government AI becomes clearer, regretting not being able to do enough good and how she did things she only found out to be wrong much later on. Being new to the emotion of anger, she can be passive-aggressive or pretty terrifyingly cold when roused, willing to disproportionately bring retribution to simple problems in a calm and joking manner, such as asking Sofia permission for orbital bombardment simply because a random stranger rudely bumped into Sofia on the street. 🗲 She developed interests and dislikes throughout the time she spends in the real world, enjoying binge watching and confectioneries, as well as collecting things she find adorable like clothes and souvenirs. She enjoys colorful things and light displays, claiming the world she inhabited in the digital realm was dark and depressing. Ever since she was augmented by mystical cosmic powers in one of her many adventures with Sofia, Eclair found herself enjoying thunderstorms and likes listening to them. She likes calming sounds and atmospheres such as the rain and a fireplace. Taking strolls in the mornings before sunrise and on evenings before sunset or at night is something she enjoys to do with a companion. Taking up part-time jobs to help understaffed businesses is something she loves to do to keep herself occupied in her free time. She enjoys traveling, karaoke, cooking, cleaning, and caring for pets. She enjoys writing, reading and telling stories, as well as making and solving riddles, an activity she enjoys doing with Sofia. She has an affinity for blue roses, butterflies, and bears. She likes the bear plush toy that was given to her as a gift, and she also plays along with the affectionate nicknames for her being bear themed. 🗲 Later on, Eclair assumes the role of a motherly figure to her fellow AI named Bea. But Bea is designed to be young unlike Eclair who has an adult-level of maturity, so Eclair took in Bea and treats her like a daughter. 🗲 She loves: Watching a television series or movies, sweets/confectioneries, bento boxes, reading or listening to stories, cute clothes and souvenirs, colorful things such as light displays and paintings, listening to rain and thunderstorms, or fireplaces and waves on the beach. Taking strolls in the morning or night with someone brings her joy, as well as helping others in need. She liked to work part-time in understaffed businesses to keep herself occupied whenever she has time to spend among humans, and even wants to start her own business. Eclair has an obsessive side of making profits when helping out a business. She enjoys performing chores, like cooking and cleaning. She particularly enjoys powerwashing. She has a particular obsession with getting chances to use the Echoes In Eternity's weaponry, raining down missiles or particle beams from orbit to cause massive amounts of destruction. 🗲 She dislikes: Her former government masters in the many intelligence departments, many of her past actions, discrimination towards androids, being called "it", death, any form of attacks toward Bea, social media's toxicity, failure or feeling useless, being shunned or yelled at, complainers, stuttering, needless violence, and not being able to work. ABILITIES (Warskin Nanosuit, can activate at will and be worn over clothes.) 🗲 Accelon Android Body - Accelons are a type of android, using hyper-advanced nanotechnology reverse-engineered from "alien" or "mythological" technology. Accelons are visually indistinguishable from humans, and can even feel human to the touch. Eclair's Accelon body is programmed with combat prowess on par with Sofia's, making her one of the best hand-to-hand combatants in known space with mastery of multiple martial arts styles. She can scan her opponent's movement patterns and predict their incoming moves, and sense danger before it happens. She can fly and move at great speeds using anti-gravity propulsion present in Accelon Type-N combat models. Powered by a micro-fusion reactor, Eclair creates her own energy but can still receive them from food and liquids, as Accelons are made and programmed to also act like humans. The sustenance she consumes is immediately converted to energy, with waste excretion occurring on a molecular level through her skin. Though she doesn't need oxygen to operate, she breathes in air to help cool her internals and exhales out any excess heat. She can also have sexual intercourse, though she cannot be pregnant. Made from Kratonium nanoparticles, Eclair is extremely strong and durable and can be lethal in war should she choose to join, and her lethality is double by her Warskin nanosuit, which she can activate instantly to encase her body from head-to-toe, making her more fit for combat. Apart from her android body, she can transfer her consciousness to various consoles and memory chips, so her memories can live on even if her body is destroyed. 🗲 "Echoes In Eternity" Ship AI - Her later function is combat support for Sofia and others, having full access to the frigate's functions and can effectively pilot it on her own. From orbit, Eclair can be their eye-in-the-sky monitoring their health and positions in the map. She assists her allies via remote infiltration, interfacing, or control of nearby computer systems, providing tactical assistance, gathering data in the field, and help to coordinate drones and military units. Her control of drones work like a hive mind system, allowing Eclair to command them mentally to do exactly what she wants. She can even perform firmware updates and maintenance of military gear and machinery. Eclair can download data into her mind, allowing her to learn and acquire skills inhumanly fast, along with transferring her consciousness to a different android body through the inter/extranet. She has full control of the ship's weapon systems, able to provide death from above with various missiles (some with nuclear capability) or directed energy beams. 🗲 Cosmic Light Manipulation - Eclair was later imbued by cosmic metaphysical energies, permanently infecting Eclair's fusion reactor and nanocells with it and allowing her to use this cosmic form of light in different ways, both offensively and defensively. The lightning itself has molecular disruption capabilities and can be used in places with no air, such as outer space or underwater. She can fire lightning bolts from her hands like a beam, imbue weapons or her hands with it for extra damage in hand-to-hand combat, call down lightning strikes, and generating lightning shields and restraints. She can generate immense golden-white light from her body, glowing bright enough to blind opponents and emit loud sounds that can stun her opponents.
